After long awaited page rank renew some sad news for Statcounter - one of the most popular free web counter. Once it was in the royal list of PR10, then dropped to PR9 and now we can see that Google took one more point from Statcounter. PR8 is not bad for any site, but would you be happy if you'd have 1.150.000 backlinks and only PR8?
More than million backlinks are generated from counter codes which users install on their sites. It's a mutual benefit, you get stats for your blog or website and Statcounter gets one backlink.
